South Korea was the main target of North Korea’s hacking, according to the latest UN report.
Its report showed that North Korea hacked 35 times, out of which South Korea was attacked 10 times. Indonesia came next with three hackings.
North Korea’s hacking targeted South Korea’s cryptocurrency exchanges, the report said.
North Korea hacked South Korea’s Bithumb exchange four times intercepting several thousands of money transfers. North Korea uses hacking for raising state funds, the UN report added.
It estimated that North Korea mobilized $2 billion through worldwide hacking.
