The Block Media will hold its second international seminar on the blockchain, called Blockfesta on Sept,27 at the National Assembly Library building with the participation of 300 policymakers, lawmakers, lawyers, and blockchain startup CEOs.
The Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association will co-host the seminar. The Busan City and the Korea Blockchain Law Society will support the event.
The conference will shed light on the role of blockchain as an emerging technology in upgrading public services and civil rights. South Korean policymakers will outline Seoul’s policy on blockchain promotion for a quantum economic takeoff.
The gathering would also seek ways of partnership between the government and the private sector as a way of making blockchain as a key national industry.
Executives of public enterprises, local autonomous bodies, and big enterprises would also unveil the blockchain projects they pursue, and share information on their projects.
Speakers include Who’s Who in the blockchain industry both at home and abroad.
The Blockfeata is the first event of the Korea Blockchain Week, which runs from Sept. 27 through Oct.4.
