The Block Media and the Busan-based Leaders Economic Daily will host a two-day seminar from Oct.21 to seek ways of charting strategy for developing the southeastern port city of Busan as the nation’s first blockchain special district.
The seminar, to be held at the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will focus on four sectors—finance, logistics, tourism, and public safety—to develop them through blockchain technology.
The Busan City, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Busan Techno Park, the Busan Bank, and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency will support the seminar.
The seminar will invite 70 participants, with lecture fee of 300,000 won per day and 500,000 won for two days.
