Ground X, Kakao’s blockchain subsidiary, will introduce a fee-free policy for the next one year in celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of Klaytn Mainnet Cyprus.
On June 27 2019, Klaytn released Mainnet Cyprus, which combines the functions of public and private blockchain technology. Ground X said, “We are implementing a commission delegation policy to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the Cyprus Mainnet. Klaytn will pay all transaction fees (gas fees) on behalf of partner developers and service providers.”
The company added, “This will allow developers to distribute or execute smart contracts for free. All wallet services that support Klay (Klaytn’s own cryptocurrency) and Klaytn-based tokens will be also free when transfer tokens to each other.”
Ground X concluded, “We will implement a commission delegation policy for the next one year.” After reviewing each company’s network and security issues, company will expand its commission delegation policy to companies or developers that provide services using Klaytn.
