Korbit, a Korean cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it will develop an AI(Artificial Intelligence) based AML(Anti-Money Laundering) solution.
Through collaboration with S2W Lab, a cyber security startup company, Korbit will build a cooperative system for prompt response to prompt analysis and analysis of abnormal transactions using AI.
It will also develop a system to reduce risks in trading cryptocurrencies.
Sebit Jin, CEO of Korbit, said, “We have been conducting joint development of this AI-based AML solution to comply with the recommendations of the Anti-Money Laundering Organization (FATF) and to comply with the anti-money laundering obligations following the enforcement of the the Specific Financial Transaction Report and Use Law, and to respond quickly to customers.”
Meanwhile, S2W Lab recently had received recognition by signing an agreement with the International Criminal Police Agency (INTERPOL) to analyze dark web threat information.
