On August 10, Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced that it has selected 7 services as a result of “web leading service development support project” contest to proactively respond to the post-corona era with Ministry of Science and ICT.
The web leading service development support project, which KISA has promoted since 2015, has supported development centering on the followings; ▲ Web standards-based forgery and alteration prevention service ▲ Web standards-based video DRM service ▲ Technologies and services that can replace plug-ins such as various authentication technologies. This year’s competition focused on the contribution of new services in a non-face-to-face environment that has spread due to Corona 19.
The services selected for this support project are ▲ Non-face-to-face-based remote education ▲ Distributed ID (DID)-based authentication ▲ AI-based gastronomy information ▲ AI-based infant talent discovery guidance ▲ Remote work management ▲ Blockchain-based electronic document issuance authenticity verification service, etc.
On this day, KISA signed agreements with 7 service development companies selected for the support project, and had time to listen to the voices of the field, including difficulties and policy suggestions from related companies.
Kim Seok Hwan, Director of KISA, said, “In order to take the lead in responding to the post-corona era, it is important to discover non-face-to-face services that are close to people’s lives. KISA will revitalize the domestic non-face-to-face industry, such as discovering faster, safer, and more convenient non-face-to-face services through this support project.”
