The four major domestic DID (Decentralized Identity) alliances will be participating at the “BLOCKFESTA 2020”. In addition to various crypto projects, DeFi, the biggest topic in the digital financial market this year, will also join the event to discuss on future digital finance along with banks and financial institutions.
BLOCKFESTA 2020 will be held on the 51st floor of the COEX Trading Center on 13th of November.
DID is a blockchain based application service that verifies one’s identity without a physical ID or other public identity certificates. the four major DID tech companies has formed an alliance(“My ID Alliance,” led by ICONLOOP, “My Kipfin Alliance,” led by Coinplug, “Initial Alliance” led by SK Telecom, and “DID Alliance Korea” led by Raon Secure).
The speakers will be Jonghyup Kim, CEO of Iconloop, Wonho Heo, Director of Coinplug, Jiyoung Song, manager of SK Telecom, and Suwoong Yoo of Raon Secure. Apart from the four alliances, Kwon-ho Jeong, director of Lambda 256, preparing to join the DID Alliance, will also be participate.
The core topic of the BLOCKFESTA 2020 “The future of the digital asset market,” includes many interesting speakers from crypto industry. Kim Hyungjoo, chairman of the Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association(KBIPA) and the chairman of the Busan Blockchain Freedom Regulation Zone, will open the session with keynote speech. David Drake, chairman of LDJ capital and various crypto projects that caught the eye in the market this year such as Ocean Protocol, Injective Protocol, Linear Finance, Blockstack, Solana, Orbs, Mina, and Tezos will participate with recorded videos. Among domestic exchanges, Probit cryptocurrency exchange will participate.
In the ‘Digitalization through Blockchain’ section, starting with a keynote speech by Jeyoon Shin, former chairman of the Financial Services Commission(FSC), Yoon Hari, head of Shinhan Bank’s Blockchain Lab, Hoonki Park, Vice President of BNK Financial Group, and Hyojin Park, Head of New Business Division, Sejong Telecom, will participate as speakers. The current status of the Busan Blockchain Special Zone business and the status of the blockchain business from the perspective of traditional financial companies will be spoken. Alyssa Psy CEO of Panoni, Lee Jongmyeong, CEO of DarwinKS will give insightful speeches about DCEP and digital asset market.
