[Blockmedia] ASSAPLAY Korea (CEO Son Myung-chan), which is drawing keen attention as a blockchain-based music-themed convergence entertainment service, announced that it has signed a business agreement with Japan’s NFT and Metabus leading company UPBOND on joint entry into Japan and global markets.
The two companies will create a foundation for the settlement of the ASSAPLAY O2O service platform “ASSA” in Japan, provide technical support, sales and marketing, and conduct joint cooperation to target global markets.
Upbond is a CRM company that advocates customer experience suitable for the new era and is also a leader in NFT-Metabus system development and consulting services in Japan, being selected as a finalist at the Tokyo Venture Championship last year.
In particular, Upbond maintains a close business partnership with the Japanese subsidiary of the “Animoka Brand,” which entered Japan last year. The Animoca Brand is a global company with a global reputation in the field. The Japanese subsidiary of the Animoka Brand successfully debuted in January with the participation of large Japanese companies in funds, drawing much attention.
In addition, Upbond recorded a complete sale of Japan’s first NFT product, “SKE48 Trading Card,” and successfully conducted NFT promotions such as Digital Art Battle, Zeroyeon, Virtual Fashion Show, Wdot Platform, and Monkey Kingdom.
Currently, it provides professional services specialized in NFT & Metabus through collaboration with global companies such as Japanese animation, automobiles, and watch industries, and a number of local governments.
In the future, ASSAPLAY plans to collaborate with Upbond in Japan as well as sharing plans for overseas expansion such as Southeast Asia, joint planning and marketing, discovering new businesses, and investing.
Upbond CEO Hayao Mizuoka said, “Upbond is providing consulting services and development of Upbond NFT and Metabus systems through global networks with global companies such as the Anymoka brand,” adding, “We will actively support Upbond’s core services.”
Son Myung-chan, CEO of ASSAPLAY Korea, said, “We plan to prepare strategies and services suitable for Japan through a wide range of ideas sharing and joint planning with Upbond, which represents Japan’s current NFT and Metabus businesses,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen partnerships with domestic and foreign companies.”
Meanwhile, ASSAPLAY Korea is a company that advocates blockchain O2O platform services centered on music themes, and is developing the service by advocating a “music theme park” that encompasses online and offline based on the “ASSA” brand, the origin of coin karaoke.
