SK C&C has unveiled its artificial intelligence (AI) service, enabling customers to get legal services on the property market and other information. The AI service is available on the blockchain-based platform.
The blockchain-based digital service is part of South Korea’s third largest business group’s strategy to create an open digital knowledge base.
The company unveiled the service at the D.N.A. (Digital Native Accelerator) 2018 event held at the Grand Inter-Continental Hotel in southern Seoul.
Through a partnership with law firm Hankyul, SK C&C will enable both lease lessors and lessees to get a contract tailor-made for them. This service makes it possible for the two sides to sign the contract without a broker. Hankyul will provide crucial information both sides need to know before signing the contract.
The SK AI will keep extensive data and information on the civil law, the Housing Lease Protection Act and other regulations related with property rights. Court rulings on the property lawsuits will be available. These services are now on a trial operation among a group of realtors.
SK C&C has branched out into medical and insurance markets. Under a contract with Korea University Hospital, patients will get antibiotics for their specific needs. The patients can also get information on side effects and interaction of the medicine they use on their body.
The SK-AIA Life Insurance partnership enables mobile phone users to get a discount on phone bills once they meet the AIA-set daily walking distance target.
In the D.N.A. festival, visitors to each display booth can collect virtual coins through the quick response (QR) code and use the coins they collected for buying souvenirs. Many event organizers, including cities and provinces, will create the blockchain-based cybercurrency for their event-only use.
SK C&C also unveiled the services using big data and cloud. Especially job seekers can pre-screen their letters of self-introduction through the service.
SK C&C said it would establish a digital transformation platform whereby customers can gain access to all information services all companies can provide.
