South Korea’s first media specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency, the Block Media, announced Tuesday that it would open a TV station aimed at helping the young Millennial Generation know more about the latest trend in the blockchain and virtual currency market.
Block Media CEO and publisher Choi Chang-hwan said the Block TV would open for five days. The Crypto Today will air news about major trends in major cyber currencies. The What’s Blockchain program will help the audience learn more about blockchain knowhow and information. The Crypto Show will interview blockchain experts both at home and abroad.
Cecilia Myeong, who is in charge of the TV project, said, “As the leader in the next-generation blockchain broadcasting, we will do our best to help investors better informed of the blockchain and cryptocurrency market trends both at home and abroad.”
Ahead of the formal opening on Nov.1, the Block TV will start a trial broadcasting through YouTube, Facebook, and Naver TV.
Last month, the Block Media started an English news service.
