Koreans aged between 25 and 34 years old were the most active investors in 2018. They are called the Coin Generation.
According to the Huobi Korea, 77.25 percent of visitors to its cryptocurrency exchange site between March through December are males, while the 22.75 percent were women.
Most active visitors are the men in the age group of 25-34 years. They accounted for 33.71 percent.
About 11.49 percent are the males aged between 35 and 44, followed by the men aged between 18 and 24 (19.88 percent) and the men aged between 45-54 (8.39 percent).
Women in the 25-34 age group were the most active visitors. They accounted for 7.54 percent.
Seoulites were the most active, accounting for 82.65 percent, followed by Busan residents (3.45 percent), Seongnam City (3.44 percent), Incheon City (3.09 percent), Taegu City (1.5 percent), Daejeon City (0.87 percent) and Gwangju City (0.81 percent).
Friday was the busiest day for the cryptocurrency investors. They visited the site most between 4 and 5 p.m. Friday, just ahead of the weekend holidays.
Bitcoin was the most traded on the Huobi exchange, followed by ETH, XRP, EOS, and BCH.
