The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation is inviting companies to participate in the construction of smart cities across the country.

It initially designated the Sejong City and Pusan as model smart cities. Internet of Things (IOT), artificial intelligence, and other next-generation technologies would be mobilized for the cities, it said.

The government said its partnership with companies is crucial for the success of the smart cities. Inside the smart city, new regulations and rules would be adopted.
