A man named Gregory Blake this week tweeted a few photos showing the Samsung Galaxy 10 model contains cryptocurrency wallet.
The photos on the Twitter showed “Supported cryptocurrencies Ethereum (ETH),” “Welcome to Samsung Blockchain KeyStore.” “It is a secure and convenient place to restore your cryptocurrency.”
Last year, Samsung registered its three patents—Blockchain KeyStore, Blockchain Box and Blockchain Core—in Europe.
Two months ago, a blogger speculated that Samsung’s new model would contain blockchain cryptocurrency wallet, which Samsung at that time denied.
Many analysts said that smartphone is more fitful for cryptocurrency wallet than personal computers.
Samsung is not the first to install the cryptocurrency wallet. HTC had already unveiled its blockchain smartphone Exodus 1.
Samsung Electronics has been carefully orchestrating a tease marketing on its Galaxy 10 model ahead of its planned debut next month. If you go to YouTube, you can find many videos showing the main features of the new model. For instance, the new model features a foldable screen.
