The Ministry of Science and ICT and the state-funded Korea Internet Security Agency and have named 32 companies, which would develop the 12 pilot blockchain projects.

The 32 companies include LG CNS, KT, Coin Plug, and Hancom Secure. They would develop platforms for the National Archives of Korea, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, the Military Manpower Administration, the Pusan Metropolitan Government, the Seoul Medical Center, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Ministry of Food and Drug Administration, the Korea Post, the North Jeolla Province and the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
