Doonamoo, the operator of the domestic cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, said Wednesday it invested 55 billion won in 26 blockchain startups.
It said over the next three years, its investment in blockchain startups would top 100 billion won.
Its investments include cryptocurrency-based settlement system Terra, mobile asset management platform Rainist and Dalcom Soft, the developer of rhythm game Superstar.
Doonamoo also invested in Honest Fund, online travel agency Tide Square, and accounting solution provider Cash Note.
A Doonamoo spokesman said its investment would stimulate the creation of the domestic blockchain ecosystem.
