The World Economic Forum (WEF) has formed a task force to set new global guidelines on six emerging sectors, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, drone, and Internet of Things.

The task force comprises more than 200 experts in the public and private sectors. They will regularly meet to chart the rules on the emerging industries.

The task force would help countries share policy information, harmonize rules and set model policy tools.
