Global blockchain-based healthcare firm Medibloc has secured an 8-billion won government project to develop a blockchain-based platform for collecting the medical information.
Medibloc will team up with Samsung Non-Life Insurance, Seoul National University Medical Center, and Cha Medical School to develop a blockchain-based platform to collect, exchange, and share personal medical records.
Medibloc will develop an interface server that would link hospitals, smartphones, and blockchain. It would upgrade the quality of medical data through blockchain. It would also establish an application for smartphones so that people can access their medical history and records.
The platform would be patient-oriented healthcare data platform.
The project would continue until November. The project, called My Data, is part of the government’s plan to develop the data AI economy, which will continue till 2023.
