# Blockchain Technology Hits a Critical Juncture with Modular Blockchains on the Rise
Blockchain technology is encountering a pivotal moment as demands for scalability and efficiency grow. Notably, the concept of modular blockchains is gaining traction, positioning rollup-based blockchain solutions, particularly driven by Ethereum, as mainstream solutions.
Rollups, which process data off-chain and summarize it on Layer 1 blockchains, are regarded as effective solutions to problems in scalability and gas fees. There are generally two types of rollups: Optimistic Rollups and Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Rollups. ZK Rollups, which instantly verify transaction data using zero-knowledge proofs, have earned the preference of Ethereum’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin in the long run. However, due to technical complexities and higher setup costs, Optimistic Rollups remain more widely adopted.
Within this context, Lumoz is spearheading new innovations in the blockchain ecosystem. Lumoz provides ZK Rollups as a service (RaaS), offering solutions that leverage ZK Rollups while minimizing technical complexity.
# Upcoming TGE of MOZ Token This Year
Lumoz raised $14 million in a Pre-A funding round and strategic financing in the first half of this year, valuing the company at $300 million. Key investors include OKX Ventures, HashKey Capital, Polygon, and Web3port. Lumoz has announced the launch of its mainnet and the Token Generation Event (TGE) for the MOZ token by the end of this year, garnering significant attention.
Currently, Lumoz has successfully conducted three testnets, attracting over 3 million users and more than 200 projects. The ecosystem is rapidly expanding, securing 28,137 validators and 145 PoW miners.
# What Sets Lumoz Apart?
## Hybrid Mechanism of PoW and PoS
To ensure the efficient verification of ZK Rollups, Lumoz adopts a hybrid mechanism that combines Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS). PoW provides the high computing power required for generating zero-knowledge proofs, while PoS maximizes resource efficiency in the verification process. This dual approach ensures both security and scalability, which are Lumoz’s standout features.
## Integration with Diverse Blockchain Ecosystems
Lumoz supports integration with not only EVM-based blockchains but also Move language-based blockchains like Sui and Aptos. The Move ecosystem is lauded for data efficiency and scalability, and Lumoz facilitates a cross-chain collaborative environment, accessing a broader market and user base.
## Community-Centric Ecosystem
Lumoz has built an incentive structure based on community participation. Through zk verification node sales, Lumoz has successfully attracted over 28,000 validators and promoted community engagement. Validators are tiered from 1 to 10, with all tiers up to tier 7 sold out. Users receive esMOZ tokens as rewards based on their network contributions.
In efforts to expand existing communities, Lumoz allocated esMOZ tokens as airdrops to active users from various ecosystems, including Sui, Aptos, and Celestia blockchains, as well as partnerships like UXLINK and CARV. These initiatives aim to increase the active participation of web3 ecosystem enthusiasts, enhancing the vibrancy of the Lumoz community.
## Dual Token System
Lumoz employs a dual token system comprising MOZ and esMOZ to design a stable and sustainable economic model. MOZ is the native token of the Lumoz mainnet, used for gas fee payments and various utilities. esMOZ, on the other hand, serves as an incentive token for network contributors, used for staking and governance participation. While MOZ and esMOZ can be exchanged at a 1:1 ratio, esMOZ undergoes a gradual conversion to MOZ after a set lock-up period to maintain a sound token ecosystem.
To address potential discontent among some node operators over this lock-up structure, Lumoz introduced the OG NFT mechanism. Holders of OG NFTs can convert specific amounts of esMOZ to MOZ without lock-up restrictions, and each NFT is burned post-conversion. OG NFTs are awarded for community contributions or node purchases, further promoting community engagement.
# Why Lumoz Ecosystem Warrants Attention Before TGE
Ahead of the upcoming TGE, Lumoz is facilitating conversions for OG NFT holders from esMOZ to MOZ. Thus far, over 10 million esMOZ and 10,000 OG NFTs have been burned. Additionally, the airdrop confirmation period for users of Sui, Aptos, and Celestia blockchains will conclude by December 5. Users active in these ecosystems should verify their eligibility for Lumoz airdrops. Lumoz also provides various opportunities for ecosystem participation through community activities and OG NFT grants.
Lumoz has established itself as a leading project in the modular track by offering technical services and support to more than 20 high-quality projects and Layer 2 initiatives. Key partners include CARV, UXLINK, ZKFair, Merlin Chain, MATR1X, and Ultiverse. Lumoz’s technological advancements contribute to ecosystem growth and enhance the token’s potential value through close cooperation with its partners.
Pursuing expansion with a global vision, Lumoz collaborates with web3 social platform UXLINK to develop a Social Growth Layer (SGL), targeting cryptocurrency adoption and user base expansion in markets like Japan and South Korea. Simultaneously, Lumoz increases brand awareness and strengthens ties with local communities in rapidly growing crypto markets like Turkey and Russia through diverse marketing activities.
The forthcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) and mainnet launch mark critical milestones for the Lumoz ecosystem. Expected to offer new opportunities to the community and ecosystem participants, Lumoz showcases its potential for sustainable growth. Observers will watch keenly to see if Lumoz’s innovative technology and regional collaboration strategy can solidify its foothold in the global cryptocurrency ecosystem.
